Your assignment is to mimick the ‘Surrealist’ style of Salvador Dali. Your exercise is to draw a dream. It can be based on a real one you’ve had or just make something up. The wierder the better. Think of this art as a visual representation of a bizarre dream captured on paper. This is a drawing exercise so no color. Have fun with it, distort reality.
Note: These exercises were developed for a class setting but can easily work for the individual. If you use this for a group of people make sure to share everyones work at the end, it fun to see how everyone interpreted the same themes and is usually good for a few laughs as well.
