How should you approach an illustrative logo? What style should you choose? How do you go about refining your artwork so you present the best mark you can? All of this an much more will be covered as you watch me create, stumble, trip and fall during my creative process on this illustrative logo project.

If you consistently guess when building your artwork then each will open up the opportunity for increasing visual tension and weakening your overall art. This is a classic rookie mistake most often committed by students and sadly it’s also common place for many designers who should know better.

   Thanks so much for providing these tutorials. It’s super helpful to see the entire design process and your advice about second-guessing artwork late in the game was invaluable.

   I thought the fonts you used for the Pirana logo were perfect and I’d love to know how you decided what to use.
   My biggest hang-up in logo design is choosing an appropriate typeface. I get stuck trying WAY too many options and usually end up frustrated with the results. Do you have any suggestions/resources/links that you could point me toward? Thanks!

   I really enjoy your tutorials. I used to airbrush a lot put sold most of it because of the posibilities with computers. I love the way you start the creative process on paper and flesh it out before putting it to the computer. Now I’m again drawing first and digitizing later. REFERSHING !!!
