This post isn’t really a tutorial. Rather it’s a free resource for your own creative pursuits. This download includes nineteen high resolution texture files for use in your creative projects.

Use these textures to add a nice organic flair to your illustration and design work.


Each texture includes a layered PSD file and a bitmap tiff image. If you enjoy these then you need to check out ‘Crumble, Crackle, Burn’ my texture book which contains over ‘60′ textures in the exact same format.

    A very smart friend sent me here, and I have learned so much from your tutorials and appreciate the freebies. Your book is my next purchase.
    I was at a very frustrating place just a month ago: I couldn’t find a site or a book about Illustrator that had that something that would make me excited about using it. Teach me, yes. Excite? No.
    I was also at a crossroads artistically. Wanting to move forward in my skills and repertoire, but not sure how or in what direction.
